About Community Drug Action Teams

Community Drug Action Teams (CDATs) work to reduce the local impact of drug problems by working with organisations and other community groups on local projects and identifying opportunities for improving services.

The conference is being held in partnership with Creating Synergy at the University of Wollongong 2-3 July, with a pre-conference workshop on the 1 July.

Tackle it! Toolkit Tackle it! Toolkit
Tackle It! - the local game plan on excessive alcohol use is a toolkit specifically for CDATs. It uses the action research cycle as the framework for identifying, designing and implementing projects in response to alcohol misuse.
