WorkVentures’ mission is to be a catalyst for social change by undertaking initiatives that empower excluded groups and individuals to build positive futures.

We work in communities to help excluded individuals and groups gain the skills, confidence and opportunities to allow them to gain financial and personal independence. We use technology and partnerships as enablers, funded by our own financially sustainable businesses and by project funding from our funding partners.

We’re a not-for-profit social enterprise that creates and runs profitable business enterprises so that we can:

• generate a financial surplus that we use to fund our work in communities
• use our skills, knowledge and expertise to create innovative and practical programs that can be applied within communities
• create direct employment opportunities for our target groups.

We do this by using our expertise and creating lasting relationships in order to develop and incubate programs that can have significant systemic social impact.

Employing over 170 people across eight locations in Sydney and Melbourne, the WorkVentures team comes from diverse backgrounds with some 23 nationalities from 17 service and business disciplines.
